Employment Bridging Emergency Fund (NOW) deadline 31 May 2020
Please be aware that the NOW-ruling in The Netherlands will end on 31 May, 2020. After 31 May, it is not possible to submit an application for the NOW anymore under the current conditions.
Under the NOW ruling the Dutch government can reimburse a part of the salary costs up to a maximum of 90%. The financial support will be granted for three months. The main requirement is that a company expects a decrease in turnover of at least 20% in the chosen 3 month period (between 1 March and 1 July).
The first advance will be paid within 2 to 4 weeks after receiving the completed application.

Please note that the application with a foreign bank account (IBAN bank account) is now possible as well, but this must be done manually, which takes extra . Payments can only be made to bank accounts from one of the SEPA countries. The SEPA countries are: all countries within the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
